Free initial consultation
We spend around 30 minutes with you in person at our practice am Bellevue, discussing your weight history, medical conditions, previous attempts and goals.
Medical assessment
Our medical team reviews your information. Where medically indicated, this includes blood tests, thyroid tests and a bioimpedance body composition analysis. This forms the basis of your individual treatment plan.
Starting treatment
If there is a medical indication, you and our medical team decide whether Wegovy (semaglutide) or Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is suitable. Treatment starts at a low dose, which is increased gradually. The pens are delivered to your home at a time of your choice.
Six months of support
You have a medical review once a month, at the practice or online. Nutritional counselling, the AMITA app and ongoing adjustments to your progress and tolerability are also included.

Who is treatment for?
Wegovy and Mounjaro are approved for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 or above with at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or sleep apnoea. You do not need a diabetes diagnosis. Our medical team decides whether treatment is suitable. If it is not, we explain this and discuss possible alternatives.
Costs
The initial consultation is free and without obligation. An optional blood test costs €20, which is fully credited if you start the programme. Packages start at €99 per month. The exact price is set individually at the practice. You can pay in monthly instalments. Statutory health insurance usually does not cover medicines for weight loss.
Side effects
Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting or constipation are very common, especially in the first weeks and after a dose increase. The dose is therefore increased gradually, with close support from our medical team. Treatment is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding and is not recommended for some pre-existing conditions. Our medical team checks this before treatment begins.

Do I need a referral?
No. You can book the initial consultation directly online.
How long is the initial consultation?
The consultation takes around 30 minutes. Please allow around 45 minutes for the full appointment. It is free and without obligation.
Can I get Ozempic for weight loss?
Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes. For weight loss without diabetes, Wegovy or Mounjaro may be considered. Our medical team decides whether treatment is suitable for you.
